Good luck. Make sure you get as much of the good bacs as you can. Maybe you should run both filters for a little while, just until the new one gets established?

Which bio-wheel did you get?

Can't run both filts not enough room. The bio-wheel barely fits lol. I got the 350.

Wow! That's a lot of filtration for a 29 gallon. My father has an Emperor 280 on his 29 gallon and it's awesome.

I have a Penguin 200 on my 36 gallon bowfront and I was thinking of getting another one since they were on sale at petmountain.com

I got the 350 for $26 on amazon

and yeah I know it is lol. But I can stock a little heavier with it and I can upgrade now without having to buy a new filter! Lol.

Good plan. Any plan that includes upgrading the size of the tank is a good one. :good:
