My local Petsmart is fine.
Dont have a very good selection of fish, but conditions and quality are fine.

She's going into my 5 gallon once the guppies are gone after Christmas, so relax.

I had her in a larger one for a while [before it became a home for one of my boys] and she was so lethargic and she refused to eat. Once she went into the smaller bowl, she was much more active, more brightly coloured, and started eating again.

Just curious-if she was so lethargic and unhappy in the bigger bowl why are you going to put her in a 5gallon after christmas?

My local Petsmart is rather new. It's only been open for a little over a month and I'm quite pleased with their selection and quality. Their prices are way too high though.

Their selection is quite "vanilla" IMHO.
I never see any brackish fish (other than Mollies) and I have only seen puffers there on a single occasion, dwarfs at that. Oh, and no saltwater AT ALL
I buy fish there and like their selection of plants. They seem to have the most knowledgable staff there among the chain stores.

Since the 5 gallon is heated, I thought it might make a difference. ..I'm not too sure how she'll react so I may not even risk it. As far as I know warmer temperatures are better for bettas, so I thought it might be okay for her. If not, she stays in her bowl.
