Petco Selling Betta Fry Now

As if Petco couldn't get any worse I came across "baby bettas" which literally was one betta fry in a cup. Unbelievable

I wanted one but still it's unbelievable that they'd do that. I only wanted one so I could grow him up in nice comfort.

I didn't notice the price. They do deserve to be bought and saved but think about how many will live short lives cause little Timmy wants a baby fish. I seriously think Petco follows message boards and knows people like us will buy them.

when i went to petco they were like $1.69 which i thought was stupid cus some ppl cant even take care of adult bettas so what makes you think you can take care of a fry

Generally at 4 months old you can sex them. Some take longer.

i dont know what laws you have in america as i live in the uk but its against the law to sell an animal that young over here its unbeliverble though
