Brought home some 5 x Black Moore Goldfish yesterday and placed them in a tank with 5 x Rosy Barbs. Since there are no heaters in any of the tanks anyways, it is no difference where-ever I put them. The barbs were in with my Blue Gouramies previously with no problems.

Now, one of these Rosy Barbs has turned onto the black Moores and is in constant persuit, nipping their fins.... Suppose it'll be fine if I remove him to (the toilet comes to mind) a smaller tank for a week or two? (all on his own)

Hi Ludwig,

tbh when i saw the pics on your black moor thread I was suprised you hadn't had any trouble mixing them with the barbs.
The slow moving goldfish usually do attract a lot of attention from the faster fin-nippy species

 It is like you've been waiting for this post..... This afternoon, it was still only the one harrassing them, but I decided to move all 5 of 'em.... I've now got 5 Rosy Barbs in a 60l tank.... (2ft x 1ft x 1ft)... Hope that is fine??
