Personality Quirks?

Do any of your bettas have any cute little personality quirks? A few of mine do, and I love it because it just proves that no 2 bettas are a like, they all have individual personalities.

Here are a couple of mine and their little quirks...

Batista: He's only happy unless hes eating or flaring, he's lay in his cave all day but as soon as a put another male next to him or drop in some food hes suddenly a happy wiggly betta.

Crispin: He insists on flaring at his food before he eats it. Every single pellet he flares at individually then eats it.

Sage: hes my desktop betta, sits next to me while I'm on the computer, and he will litterally leap out of the water over and over when he wants my attention, and as soon as a look at him he'll wiggle at me and flare, then swim happily away, its like hes saying "I'm over here my right here, I just want to say hi!!"

Carmel:Has a crush on very lovely Penny and he eats like an elephant!

Penny: Gets scared and stressed easily and will not ease up on stress unless she is with my male. Also she hates to stand still for the camera.

All of mine have their own little quirks.

Gandalf - only happy when he's showing off!

Legolas - loves flaring at anything and everything!

Boromir - likes keeping on the move and having a flare when you go near him.

Aragorn - my shy little rescue Betta. Had his fins nipped badly when he was kept with Zebra Danios at the lfs. Incredibly shy except when it's feeding time!

my new boy was today released him into tank after quarantine period and hes discovered the airation, floats there waiting for a bubble every second and then eats it, its like a dog with a hose pipe. does this mean anything or is he pratting around as it looks

i will get vid in the morning as hes gone to bed now,
ive got the airation coming up from under bogwood and he sometimes hides around the edge of the bogwood ready to pounce on the bubbles, had me laughing my head off today, with him being just over an inch long (8 weeks old) the bubbles look large compared to him, he swallows the bubble complete then lets it out of his gills, like hes snorkling

Good old John won't stop flaring at his reflection no matter how I arrange his tank, he's constantly showing off.

Evan loves patrolling his tank and acting tough in front of his reflection, but he's actually afraid of Mr. Snips the amano shrimp. He loves to eat with the loaches, but every time he encounters the shrimp he swims off in a big hurry.

My two girls Elizabeth and Victoria love playing in the current from the power filter (I even made sure that sections of the tank have little to no current just for them) and pay absolutely no attention to any of the other fish in their tank, even though several are larger than themselves. They each have a little cave somewhere in the tank to hang out in when they aren't busy eating or otherwise making complete fools of themselves.

They're all voracious little buggers at feeding time, not one of them ever misses a meal.

here he is ready to pounce on the bubbles

and with one of the pygmy cories in with him sneaking up on him and made him jump, note the cory is 1cm long so it gives you an idea of how small he is.

i really didnt like bettas and when my partner came home with one 6 months ago i werent pleased but i really got to like him, thats why i got this little fellow last week and hes ALL MINE
