i have kept a 60 litre tank for around a year now which had been relatively problem free, so i decided to to buy a new tank 125 litre which has been maturing for around a week now, last friday i discovered my clown loach had got their first bout of white spot so i rushed out and bought some "wsp" treatment & began treatment i added correct measures as per instructions increased water temp to 28c also carrying out 10% water changes daily i did throw the carbon filter away before treatment began i have carried out ph,nitrate, nitrite & ammonia test all fine the treatment is having some affect up until yesterday there were very few spots on the fish but today i have noticed it seems to be getting worse i have just applied the 3rd treatment i says only use 3 applications i am unsure what to do next

would transfering all fish to the new tank and continuing to treat old empty tank at even higher temperature be an option ????????

the fish i have are 4 clown loach,2 micky mouse(small orange with 2 black dots on tail) ,1 polka dot botia & 1 plec

any help would be greatly appreciated

When you reach the end of a treatment, a 25% water change and 24-48hrs filteration though carbon usually makes it safe to begin treatment again.

I usually out the temp to 30C for four or five days to clear Ich with 1/2 dose meds max. Make sure to use an airstone in the treatment has formalin in it, and if it has Malachite Green the tank lights may inactivate it, so turn them off and you should get better results :)
