Perhaps 3 Pregnant Platies? :o

These are my two Platies that I think are pregnant so I will trap them over night for 24 hours seeing if they will drop anything then releasing them.
I have another Platy that I noticed today, (I don't know which type it is, it's kind of yellowish-clear with two black lines in the tail one facing towards the surface and vice-versa) that has BABIES inside her stomach THEY'RE SOOOOO CUTE, or at least I think they're babies seeing as how I see 2 tiny dots multiply that by like 20-30 in her stomach? But then again I am a beginner at breeding.

Can anyone tell me of the two Platies in the first picture, which are pregnant? I know the 2nd one HAS to be pregnant seeing as how I actually can see the fry in the stomach.

Approximately how long do you guys think I have it until I can trap my Twin Gold Bar Platy?
1. I think the belly is pretty square.
2. I can practically see the fry in the back D: because the back end is clear. :OOOOOO

The red wag may just be over fed. The shape does not look very gravid, she looks more rounded and full forward rather than squared off. It could be just her angle in the picture making her look like that. The mickey moues looks quite close to delivering fry, maybe in the next few days.

I agree with Oldman. The black Molly in the last pic looks pretty far along as well.

Agree with the above, the mickey mouse looks quite far along, the molly also looks pregnant. The wag is also proberbly pregnant juding by the size, although she isnt as square as the others.
I would avoid trapping them until certain and you have seen all of the signs though to avoid stress.

Any ideas if my Gold Twin Bar Platy is pregnant? Dued when? I can see the babies...

I would guess the twin bar is at least a week away from any drop by that picture. It is hard to tell with her a bit out of focus like that.

Alright thank you very so much. I've been checking on my tank every single day to see if there are any fry in the bottom, I also have Anarchis plants by a drift wood, but none of the Platies like to hang out there and I've read that if the pregnant female is about to pop, they would go lie down by some plants..

All of my males and females hang out in the dark by the filter / heater.. while my guppies hang out on the bright side but they don't go near the plants, they float above them...

not all females lay by the plants. I remember my guppy just swam around normally and lots of fry came out. lol

They all look pregnant. I'd have to say the Mickey Mouse is the farthest, maybe a week to go. The Red Molly has probably two weeks to go and I can't really tell by the picture of the twin bar. Maybe about 1-2 weeks.
