is it possible to put a pair (male:female) of pearls in a 10g?
the only other inhabitant would be maybe 1 to 3 corydoras...

No sorry mate,Minimum tank size for a pair of pearls is 25 gallons

have you considered honey gouramis?

hmmm...no?
but i will :)

and i might put a pair of pearls in my 29g...
thanks all

and the corys try to get a group of 6 if you can only fit in 4 get 4 but dont get just 1 the poor things live in groups and can be shy or frightened in smaller numbers

you can get small corys

10g is just too small for pearls, they'll get BIG!!I've got 6 honeys in my 12.5g,plenty room for them, and with a larger group they're more fun to watch as there is loads of interaction.

You can just barely make my wee guys out here:
