Pearl Gourami

i recently bought a pearl gourami thinking they would be a nice colourfull peacefull addition to my com tank....
its been in quarentine with a few cardinal tetras for a couple of weeks and is very healthy along with the tetras. i added 2 pitbull plecs today and the pearl is constantly harrasing them causing way too much stress for my liking. for this reason im not going to put him in with my other fish in the main tank as its a nice peacefull tank at the minute.
i had the same happen to me ages ago when i had a dwarf gourami which again i htought were quite peacefull to other species.....
am i just unlucky and keep getting bullys or are all gouramis bullys?

as you know mate i had some blue's before and they were nothing but trouble if you want mate ill take him off your hands with a small donation of course

hes yours ill bring him when i come round with the endlers. i hope you have more luck with him than i have such a shame as he has coloured up really well, grown on a bit since i bought him and looks beautifull

All Pearl G's are preety nippy.

I heard the same thing about them, but having kept them I reckon it depends on the fish. Sorry that's no help at all! Shame we don't live closer to each other Matt else I'd also be quite happy to take some of your fish off you! Never mind!

Hi Caz,

i think i just keep getting bully gouramis to be honest its always the case when people are wanting or selling things the people interested or selling etc are too far away..... oh well, never mind!
