Pearl Gourami

today i bought a 2 pearl gourami, the pics i have seen of them on the web they are much darker than mine is it that there is just colour variation between individuals or is it that they are young fish and will colour up as they mature. at the moment they are approx 2.5 to 3 inches

One of my fave fish ! They always look pale until settled.... they like plant cover too, give them a week and you will be rewarded !

thanks i put extra plants in my tank recently i will look forward to seeing them darken up
