Pearl Gourami Not Eating.

I've had him for 9 days and he hasn't eaten once. His tankmates are 9 neons and a bristlenose which are eating fine.

Never mind. He just ate then. I saw him using his labyrinth organ and I sprinted towards the flakes and fed him. Terra's got most of it but at least he got something.

He is now surviving on my willow/ fontinalis. Saw him eating it this morning. Is this good for him? Anyways to get him to eat flake again or any other ways to get him eating?

What are the tank stats? Size? How long the tank's been set up? NH3/NO2?NO3 levels?
