That's a better question but I could just answer it with another yep.

They are a small peaceful fish that grows to about 2 inches and lives in the bottom half of the tank. They like lots of plants and pvc pipe caves. They do best when fed on live or frozen (but defrosted) foods and don't normally take dry foods.

Males have a more rounded forehead than the females. Eggs are laid in caves or pipes and the male guards them. The eggs hatch after a few days but the fry hang around for a couple more days before becoming free swimming. The babies should be fed on infusoria and green water for the first 2 weeks and then newly hatched brineshrimp.

They are a nice little fish but not commonly available and get lost in community tanks so keep them on their own or with something small and peaceful. Iriatherina werneri or Pseudomugil gertrudae make good tank companions.

They do best in water with a GH below 150ppm and a neutral pH (around 7.0). Temperature between 20-30C (24-26C is best).

Would a pair be good with my Furcatas?
Would I need more?

What about Dwarf Rainbow?

I'm planning a 20g. Just looking for some options. I also posted a couple of other possible stocking plans for the 20g in another thread.
