Thanks everyone!

They were imported as Cichla Occelaris but more likely to be Cichla Monoculus, time will tell though.

They will grow up to 18" and yes they do enjoy there neons and livebearer fry. It's important at this age to give them the body wait in food each day otherwise there growth gets stunted, so I'm just using foods I know they will eat at the moment.

they'll go in 1 of my future huge tanks, there going to take quite a bit of time to out grow my current set up, good year or so.

there currently in 1 of the 20x20x12 tanks i bought with a ehiem aquaball filtering it.

Peacock bass are awesome once the grow up. I wish I had the space and tank big enough to keep some.
