Parasites Still?

Have you posted the vid in your other thread aswell.
Can't make to much out as the video to dark.

Signs of flukes are.
Opaque body with excess slime.
Red inflamed gills or pale gills with excess slime.
Flicking and rubbing.
Darting, or erratic swimming.
Fish will sometimes swim in a jerky movement.
Sores on red pierce marks on a fish.
Weightloss sometimes.
Spitting food out.

Yeah sorry about that. I knew the vid quality was bad, but unfortunately even though she's sick, she's still FAST! I didn't want to stress her too much by catching her and putting her in the breeding tank (sits inside of the current tank) to take a video.

Her color was paler this morning. I don't know if she has excess slime or not. Haven't seen any red sores or pierce marks on her body. She also is not eating now. :( She's not swimming much either (other than when I tried to catch her last night), and as I mentioned I did catch her trying to rub her gills in the sand. Trying to stay positive but I really don't have high hopes as this is literally like watching my male die all over again. :-(

Hows the fish doing.
Any improvement with the other fish.

She seemed a little bit more lively when I checked on her during my lunch hour, but other than that no real improvement. Still doesn't appear to want to eat. All of the other fish seem to be doing well.

If it is flukes they cause bacterial infections as in there hooks or suckers they carry a nasty bacteria which enters the fish once the parasite pierces the skin.
Flukes are hard to get rid of and can be treating with some meds up to 5 weeks.
Then you have to back up with a bacterial med.

I don't think my female is going to make it. :-( She is now resting vertically against some of the plants. I'd be surprised if she makes it through today. A couple of my other fish are now also showing signs of heavy breathing. What else can I do???? This is really frustrating. :(

Not looking good I agree.
Is there plenty of aeration in the tank.

Yeah, I think so. I have a bubble wall and a power head as well.

Well, she's still alive, but really not looking good. Is there a different medication I should be using? I'm in the US, so if anyone knows of something else that might work better, please let me know ASAP. Either it's not parasites, or Prazi Pro isn't getting the job done. :(

Edit: Did some more reading on Prazi Pro and decided to do another WC and re-dose again. I did manage to capture a video of the female. This once is much more clear. She looks so sad. You can also see how pale she's getting.

Bless her she dosn't look good does she.
Get you some info the gill fluke meds.
I know there a med called clout.

Gill Flukes

Symptoms:

Fish with gill flukes have gills that may appear red and inflamed, bleeding or slimy. Excess mucous or puss may exude from the gills. Sick fish can be observed gasping for air near the surface. This disease is most common in younger fish and fry, who are more susceptible to the parasite.

Cause:

The monogenetic fluke Dactylogyrus, which destroys gill tissue and damages blood vessels in this region.

Treatment:

Treat with Clout, Fluke Tabs, Paraform, Trifon, Paragon, Quick Cure, Formalin, orParasite Guard. Gill flukes are highly contagious, therefore, all fish in the same aquarium should be treated.

Bless Her. R.I.P.
Are you going to change meds or keep going with the one you are using.

I'm going to finish out this treatment and see if I need to re-treat with anything else. There is one Harlequin that looks a bit skinny and doesn't seem to be doing too hot.

Keep fingers crossed for you.
Let us all know how they get on.
Good Luck.
