Hi

I have a paradise fish that is a new addition to my aquarium, it was a gift. Initially it settled fine and was fairly dominate, it has now lost its colour in its body, but its head has darkened considerably. It also looks like it has been attacked by anther fish, it has an injury to its side. It is more lethargic than usual, but it still eating as normal.

Other tank occupants are 4 danios, 2 platys, 2 loaches, 1 plec, 3 rams, 2 kribensis, male fighting fish and female fighting fish. The tank is 150l. It has been set up for well over a year, and the original tank mates all get along fine and have never fought or had illness before.

I do have a picture but it is too large to upload...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

How often do you maintain the tank?

Issolate the fish and use a bacterial med.
The injury on the side can you explain in more detail what it looks like.

I would not recommend fish as gift unless the fish has been researched so you know alot about the fish.

I would do some research on the fish as they are very aggressive.
