Hi Guys,

I dont post on here often, but i was wondering if i could get some advice.
I currently have a tank with two paradise fish and three pearl danios.

I have had much trouble from the two paradise fish, the old bit of chasing one in a while, but nothing to worry me too much and the tank in heavily planted and all fish have enough area to hide.

Today i made the horrid discovery that one of my older danios was missing a whole eye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All i can see is socket!!!!!!

He seams to be in good health and is still as active as normal, it dosent seam to have effected him!!!??? Can he live a normal life?? All seam calm and well in the tank between all fish.

What i wanted to know was, what would be the best thing for him. Can he servive with one eye?? Will he loose blood?? I am worried that if he goes down hill, the other fish would pick on him and die, giving him a slow and painfull death, so in that case would it be better if i was to put him to sleep myself, quick and easy.

Hope you guys can help.

mxx

How many gallons is the tank.
What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Does the wound look clean.
Fish can survive with just one eye, He might swim on his side now and then.
Have you seen any bullying.
Did the eye bulge out before he lost it.
