Hi
Kept fish about 15 years ago successfully and recently got back into the hobby.
Bought a 100 litre to try for starters and to get the young kids into it.
Anyway, was advised to try this Aqua Care Bio Boost liquid ( always naturally cycled tanks in the past) all went well doing the stated doses. Left it a few weeks, tested water and ready for fish. All good. Stocked the tank sensibly, few peacock gobys, Cory cats and neons.
Left it 2 weeks again and had a look at the Bio Boost bottle again. Something along the lines of “ add weekly to keep optimal water quality” Added yesterday, now have what looks like a bacteria bloom on the way, cloudy water.
Worried the stock of fish won’t survive the bloom. Looking for any tips or reassurance on what to expect in the morning and next few days. Not looking forward to loosing the fish ( and investment secondary) as well as having a few upset kids!
Sorry if this is a amateur question but keen to learn the new ways of the hobby.
Thanks
