ok, always wanted to get a pair of kribs and now I have the opportunity as I have a 25 US gallon tank which has the space and spare bio load for a pair. Now at the moment it has a large piece of bogwood in it (takes up just under half the tank) with several 'archways' and a fairly large low slate cave (perhaps 10cm square internal dimensions), plus some plants which I will be adding more to to perhaps get 30-50% coverage in the tank.

Is this enough to satisfy the krib's caving nature, or do I need to add more choices of caves and hideaways?

Appreciate the help as I want my kribs (if I do get them) to be healthy and happy, and although its common knowledget that kribs like cave's no one ever says exactly how many and what design of cave and tank it should really be.

Make sure that there are at least three caves becasue they are very chosey. How big are your rocks because they dig like crazy. Also they will not harm your plants. Are you planing to breed them?

I know this isn't going to help you much but I'm thinking of starting a breed tank for some rams too and would like to listen to anything you guys have in response.
