Hey, just looking advice on how to paint the back of the glass black,
or another method??

Thanks.

You can buy backgrounds at most LFS.

Usually blue on one side & black on another. Stick on with cellotape,blu-tak, or there is some specific glue to attach it with but it seems overly expensive. Plus if you ever think of changing your background then you don't have to think about scraping paint off.

+1 as u'll never notice it if its up against a wall like mine :)

I paint mine i was latex paint, is a little hard to paint glass, cause paint slide on the glass, i was in a hurry and i have to finish fast and what i did was put really heavy coats, don't care about running paint it is not seen from the front.

But i think if you have time go with thin coats letting it to dry between coats. You have to be really careful when handling anything in that side of the tank, cause paint will stripe really easy.

not keen on them plastic backgrounds, and i dont like blue. They look tacky to me.

Its either paint, spray paint or vinyl me thinks.
Just hard to decide lol.

OK fair enough. Solid black backgrounds are available too.

Good luck with it. :good:
