I was just visiting Fish Tank Enablers and they are the scariest bunch of people I have ever met. According to them, aquarium salt kills fish and medications are much safer to use. I had to come home to my TFF family. Love you guys. We are the best!

I like a good fish & chips actually, prefer haddock.

Plenty of vinegar and some salt is how I like it!

But yeah, some of these FB fish forums can be scary places, especially how some folks just simply rip into others, does not matter if they right or wrong once they start, mob mentality take over, surprised have not seen pitchforks and flame torches going around!!!

But yes, always nice to come back on here and see how things should be, civil, friendly and good advice without folks going off on one.

I've never eaten fish. One time I was pressured into trying some crab. Basically I worked on a Tiger Shark tour boat & a kid's Pirate Adventure boat near Cape Cod. Work dinner & everyone was like "how can ya come to Maine and not eat crab?!" I gave in. It was kind of ok but grossed me out too much.

that's my story.

the end.

Oh man, I haven't had proper chip shop fish and chips in yonks, now I really want some!
Might have to fix that tomorrow. Some salt and lots of vinegar is the only way to go, with fat, soft, squishy proper chips. Nom!

I went to a chip shop a whole after our big lockdown and nearly cried when I got my bag of chips. I was so emotional

You’ve never eaten fish?

Wow

I have a friend who does not like eating seafood be it any fish or any shellfish at all in any shape or form.

Though she loves my fish tanks and going ooh pretty, but just not eating any fish.

Her poor husband and kids loves fish but never has it at home, only has seafood when they go out for a meal

I'm not going to lie, I thought chips were non-north american french fries. I do like fish and chips, but I guess I've never gotten the authentic experience.

Lol, of course! I’d forgotten that the Americans call chips what we UK folks call crisps.

So therefore crisp is an adjective in the USA, not a noun. Chips in the UK are also called fries as well as in the USA.

So, our chips are your fries, our crisps are your chips, and crisp describes our crisps, but not our chips :p
