Hello.

Oxyeleotris marmoratus, is it a brackish species? I have sg=1,008 (destination 1,010). And how length it can be expected to reach in captivity?

Oxyeleotris marmoratus appears to do equally well in both freshwater and brackish water conditions. It has been successfully maintained under both sets of conditions, both in aquaria and on fish farms (it's primarily a food species, rather than an aquarium fish). There's no particular reason to keep it at a specific gravity above 1.005.

As for adult size, I've never seen an aquarium specimen above 40 cm or so.

Cheers, Neale
