Overstocking

hello, I have a 70litre tropical tank which is constantly getting dirty i have a very good filter, i have 8 mollies, 2 guppies, 4 head hail lighters, 4 platys, 2 albino catfish and a siamese fighter fish i am concerned that it is overstocked am having to do weekly water changes and gravel cleaning as the gravel is my main issue as it is storing all the rubbish i know i dont over feed amd apart from overstocking i dont know what else could be causing my tank to become dirty within about 5 days of cleaning

most people will do water changes weekly anyway or atleast a gravel vac and top up.

what do you mean by 'dirty' fish poo? algae?
