I have a 65 gallon tank which i just set up. I have 8 Tiger Barbs, 6 Serpae Tetras and one Dwarf ID Shark(max size 6inches so i was told). I am wondering if this tank is overstocked? It doesn't seem like it now as they are all small fish and I want to add more but when they get bigger I don't want to run into issues that come along with overstocking your fish tank. Any suggestions will help :) Thanks.

PS. I have an aquaclear 70 and do weekly water changes of about 30-50%

I would say you could probably have double that amount of fish, and still be comfortable. Just keep doing your water changes and I'm sure everything will be fine! :)

except, lol at the dwarf ID.

pretty sure theres no such thing and that thing will grow huge!

This is my #1 concern! The fish store promised me it wouldn't grow past 6 inches. I asked twice.. two different dudes at the LFS too and they both said the same thing. But on the other hand i can't find ANY info on the internet regarding this species.. i am getting a little fustrated because i do NOT want to have to .. "get rid" of it if it grows too large.. i wish someone could confirm this specices

Also space monkey.. aren't cichlids slow moving? with large fins? Doesn't that equal out to bad news with barbs and serpae tetras.. as is my tetras fin nip like crazzy, even more then the barbs.

The only way is to post some photos here and I'm sure we can tell you :)
Edit: see you have now posted over in the catfish section - well done - with some pics I'm sure you'll know soon.
