Overdose On Dechlorinator?

I've been using the Nutrafin Aqua Plus water since starting the tank. I was just wondering if it possible to overdose on this stuff and would it effect my water readings? On the bottle it states that 5ml treats 38l to clear chlorine. I've been currently using 15ml for 38l, only because its easier to measure out in 5ml's. Would this increase effect my readings at all? It does say also on the bottle to use 10ml for protection of scales and fins. So am i right in thinking that it shouldnt effect the readings, but actually the extra is helping protect my fish??

its not a problem to dose 1.5x to 2x the amount. I wouldn't empty an entire bottle into the tank but at the levels you are suggesting it is fine. I always slightly overdose my water.

Yep, as above, i use the "thats enough" method, always add plenty, in small amounts it does no harm.
