tank 1:

60l, 2ft

4 golden danios
3 pitbull plecs
5 black phantom tetras
6 cories

tank 2:

60l hexagonal

1 male betta
6 herlequines
8 cories (make that 7, just found a dead one :S)
4 otos

are either of these over stocked? this is not what i currently have. its what i want to end up with. i do 40% weekly water change

a fish keeper will be able to tell if theyre over stocked by the followng factors:

nitrates build VERY quickly
your fish dont have much space.

whats that supposed to mean. im not that experieced hence why i am on here

also if i go but all the fish i want then find out im overstocked then its a waste of money and time having to give them away

60l, 2ft

4 golden danios - 8"
3 pitbull plecs - 6"
5 black phantom tetras - 7.5"
6 cories - 12"

around 33.5 inches in 16G tank

tank 2:

60l hexagonal

1 male betta - 2"
6 herlequines - 6"
8 cories (make that 7, just found a dead one :S) - 14"
4 otos - 4"

around 26 inches in 16G tank

as a beginner it is best to stick to 1" per gallon for the first 4 or so months,
after that you can go to 2" per gallon provided you have good filtration and a regular water change regime

I'd add 2 more otocinclus to tank two and make sure that the corys are one of the smaller species

yea, like davo has done you need to look at all your fish and record their length, this will give you a rough guide to what you can keep. get back with the lenghts(not inc tails) and then ask the question

happy fishkeeping
