Hello, I am new to aquarium-ing. I currently have a five gallon tank with three male guppies in it. I was wondering if anyone knows if it will be alright to add maybe like 4/5 minnows (because minnows are tiny) to fill up my tank more. It just seems like a lot of space for three fish but I don't want to over crowd it (because I know that stresses the fish out and then they die :( ). So if anyone has any answers then I'll listen.
Thanks.

Your tank is stocked as it is, minnows might be small but they are very active & need swimming space.
You could add some cherry shrimp they won't add much to the bioload & are fun to watch

That or add some decor for the guppies to swim around. 5 gallons isn't a lot and won't allow much of a bio load. They are designed for desks and bettas.
