My sons tank has broken and I have had to take his fish and put them into my tank.

He has told me to keep them as he was not overly interested in them being away from home most of the time.

My tank is a 78ltr corner unit.link below so u may get genral idea of tank.

All water readings are good in my tank and I do weekly maint on tank as recommended by this site.

The tank now has:
6 neon tetras
2 mollies
3 guppies
4 bronze corys
2 peppered corys
1 albino cory.

My intention is to get another tank in the future but later than sooner.

Can I safely leave my sons fish in there,I have no problem doing mid week water change if that would help.

Thank you

It's pretty heavy, but with a good filter should be ok with good maintenance. Is that list with or without his fish?

If it is with his fish, like I said, it's heavy, but a mature tank, good filter should be able to take it. If you also added his filter media (or even his filter) it should prevent a mini-cycle, which is the biggest wory I'd have merging two tanks like that.

If it's without his fish, it depends on what he has, but I don't think I'd take them. What's his stocking list?

Thanks Corleone, yes that includes his fish as well.

I do expect a mini cycle so I am checking the water frequently, I have just finished cycling my tank so I am use to any constant water changes.

If things get out of whack to often I will see if I can give some of the fish to a friend.

Thank you for your advice.
