It was a whiel back and that store is'nt too good with fish any more ever since they stopped Q/T the fish
and umm guys.. Whats that yellow cichlid? Witch is around 2-3" max? I Frogot if its new world or old world?
they're realy pretty and i want one as i heard there not very aggresive . If oyu dont know what it is. I Will ask my mom since she has abit of experiance with the good ol cichlids.
EDIT: Shee gave him away to some-one on the forums
Thank indigo, yep I have left, 7-8" severum, 2 x 8-9" senegals, 7" bgkf, 4 x 4" geophagus and 7 x 1.5" giant danios.
Ohh and I forgot my elusive 5" bn plec
Personally, with that combo, I'd go for either a Electric blue Dempsey or a Blue Acara variant,
that is of course if you are looking for another cichlid,
Oe how about a trio of large Golden Panchax for the upper level,
with regard to the eel, have you been to Maidenhead at Newport lately?
last time i went in they had a nice selection of decent sized Fire, Tyre-Track and Peacock Eels
Wouldnt the panchax be bichir food? Beautiful fish but dont want them to be eaten!! How big do they get?
EBJD's at LFS near me, never took much notice of them, but will have another longer look.
I was at mere park last Wednesday, never saw any eels at all, usually they are at the back, still had the large ornate birchir but no eels, unless they moved them and I missed them
How about Uaru? Could work nice with the Geo and the Sev, if you remortgage the house you could get some of the Pandas or if you want some of the more "different" cichlids how about true Parott Cichlids dont know much about them but they look nice Or mixing in some of the rarer acaras (Aequidens, Krobia etc) would be pretty nice quite a few popping up around the country. If it were me I would get some nice L numbers to add into that mix. What about some Dats? Beautiful fish IMO
Kind of know what you mean about the lack of ideas cos Im pretty similar lol but I keep getting odd hints of ideas haha
Uaru are expensive and I cant say they appeal particuarly. The fish I already have, are staying. Thanks for the ideas already, going to have a look around later, see what I can find.
