Ahhhh, tis good to be home But we had fun.

We went to the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christie (of course!) while we were down there. They had a lot of neat stuff, I enjoyed it.

And to my favorite part, the seagulls. I love,love,love them!!
We were feeding them off of our look-out tower and they were so funny. They started pouring in from everywhere..

The treefrogs were everywhere at night. I found this one on our fence on our last night..

Love the pics wuv, that last one of tuesday with the parrots is great. the dolphins are amazing and those pics of the seagulls are really funny.

The gulls were awesome. I have a story of one. The kids were flying kites on the beach and I was lying on a towel, one seagull got caught in the kite string and he came tumbling down. My niece started pulling the string from her end, the wind was pulling the kite the other way and the bird was trying to pull himself out. I rushed over and untangled him, he wanted to bite at me but he immediately stopped, I set him loose and he flew off. The next day we're out there again and I'm once again lying on a towel...Tues was feeding the birds off to the far left so they wouldn't hover over me. I felt something watching behind me and I turned and at me feet was a seagull with a gimpy wing just staring at me. I was like " Is that you?" and he just looked and looked and then walked over to the rest of the crowd where he stuck out like a sore thumb. I *think* it was the one who was tangled the day before. I dunno for sure, but it was a really awesome moment

CC I hear ya! One of my nieces brought her friend, they're both around 18'ish, they were out boogie boarding and the friend got stung,ton the arm.
I saw one guy on the beach while we were driving who had obviously been stung (judging by the way he was grabbing his leg and rolling in the sand while everybody in his party stared so not funny!)
Tuesday and I would go down and walk the beach late in the evening and I found a dead one that I was inches away from stepping on so I buried it in the sand. After that I was super paranoid.
