k ihave 10 gal tank that has about 7tsp of salt in it and i'm gonna do a water change today.....is it ok for otos to have a bit of salt approx 5tsp/gal? i haven't found anything that says no......a little help plz

Ottos are catfish and so don't tolerate salt well. Why do you want salt in your tank? There are very few fish that have to have it, unless they are definitely brackish water fish like puffers or archer fish.

I have otos in my guppy tank with salt. They seem to be thriving and healthy. They're active, attractive, and the most recent two are growing noticably.

i have mollies.....i think i'm gonna start getting them off salt slowly tho.....it makes a real mess! the otos at the moment seem quite content...i'll watch them tho just in case something goes wrong
