In my 75gal tank i have a realy bad algae problem. It is brown algae on the rocks and glass. I carn't get my arm down the back of the tank with the magnet. :X So there is loads on the back.
I want to know how good are Otos at cleaning up this and how quickly can they do this? What size groups?

Thanks - Dan

otos should do fine clearing that up, mine cleared up an infested tank overnight. what else is in your tank? otos like to be in groups, so a group of 5 or more (depending on how stocked your tank is and what else is in there) i have mine in trios because my tanks are small and they seem happy enough, but the more the merrier.

Depending on the rest of your stocking, you could have a lot of ottos in a 75G :hyper: but the more you have, the quicker they'll clear it all and the quicker they'll run out of algae and you'll have to supplement their diet.

I'd personally start with about 6-8 in a tank that size and give them a bit of time  they could clear it over night, but they might take a couple of weeks, if you want to, you can always easily add more at a later date :good:
