okay everyone i want to ask that how many fish there are that dont eat meat, because i heard that if we keep fish that eat meat with fish doesnt eat meat than the fish that eat meat will eat the other fish

Most fish are what's known as 'omnivorous' ie; they'll eat anything that comes along. Even fish that we think of as vegetarian will eat worms and insect larvae.

There are a few fish that will predate on tank mates, but most; even ones like pirhanas, give up hunting if they're well fed; they soon learn it's a darn site easier to sit around and wait to be fed than have to work to catch other fish!

As long as you do your research into the fish you buy, you won't have a problem

Also, a lot depends on the size of the fish and tankmates. If you have tiny fish in with much bigger fish, 'vegetarian' or not, the tiny ones will probably disappear, same with shrimps. But you can keep quite a few 'fish eating' fish in communities as long as everyone is too big to fit into its mouth! (obviously don't try this with things like snakeheads or giant catfish but you get the idea )
