Just been to LFS and saw some amazing fish! Was just wondering whether zebra danio or ruby barbs would be ok to mix with a male or female bettas?

I know zebra danios are a no. I think ruby barbs might be a no as well, as most barbs are fast and often nippy.

Both are usually fin nippers, so the answer should be no to putting them with a betta.

you could put them with a female, a male might be in trouble, though
