any ideas on what else you can keep in an all water tank.. besides fish, american dwarf frog, and lobsters?

Could be intersting to try and recreate a pond with all its unusual inhabitants in a tank without fish i.e Hydra, clam shrimp, fairy shrimp, various pond snails, blood worms, and cyclops etc. The near microscopic life of a pond can be fascinating and if recreated in a tank would give a whole new perspective of what actually goes on out of normal/ easy view. My old bath tub that doubles as a spare pond for young goldfish never ceases to amaze me for all the interesting non fish creatures living in it, and if I had the room for one more tank would probably try relocating some of the bath tubs inhabitants to a tank.

well i want either all water or 3/4 water.. i was some fish but other animals too.. just lookin for somethin different

also really depends on the size of the tank. that is the biggest factor in my opinion.

Freshwater clams, cherry shrimp, ghost shrimp, brine/fairy shrimp, hydras, apple snails, rashorn snails, african clawed frogs, 'tutti fruity' frogs, blood worms, tubefex worms, black worms, newts, 'water dogs', tadpols, some species of water bettles, fiddler crabs (they need to be able to get out of the water sometimes though), water scorpions (if they're with compatible fish, crawfish, and others.

You can keep some crabs in an all water tank, but whether or not they will pose a threat to your fish i'm unsure.

Some Shrimp would be nice, they are great fun to watch.

James.
