I have a 29-30gl. tank and i was wondering if i can fit one Oscar in there?

thanks!

Not really. The general consensus is you need at least a 55 gal. tank for one oscar, preferably 75. They are big poopers and get quite large.

You could for while but don't.....These fish definately have a personality and you will NOT want too let him go and may end up living the rest of it's life in an inadiquite tank

Oscars are New world cichlids. A 30 gallon would be too small for an oscar. Try and save up for a 55 if you can

yeh

i wouldnt even put try put a oscar in my 40 gal let alone a 30, dont do it for the oscars health

Osacrs do get large and they tear around the tank so this tank would be too small.
The good thing is that you asked, I have seen lots of pictures of Oscars in tanks that are way too small.
