how can i make my oscar more happyier hes always hiding i want him to be moveig around.

First of all, how big is the tank, how long has it been set up and was it cycled, what filtration do you have and how many and how big are your water changes?

How long have you had the oscar, what are you feeding it, what decoration is there in the tank and are there any other fish in there?

How long have you had him?
What size tank is it?
What tank mates does he have?
What filtration do you have?
What's his diet?

Is the tank at least 75 gallons in size? Are there plenty of hiding places and decorations? Are you feeding it properly? How long has the tank been running? Are there any larger aggressive fish that might be forcing it to hide? What's the pH, hardness, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia levels?

looking at the
"30gallon
lep fasciatu
black molly
sunburst wag" in your profile info, I can say one thing right now.

if it's in a 30 gallon tank, take the oscar back. no wonder it's hiding all the time.

It needs more than twice the space that the tank provides, and that's for a single oscar and nothing else.

You may think "Oh, I can upgrade to a 75 gallon once it starts to grow" but oscars grow at the rate of about an inch a month. Your tank is far from suitable for this fish.
