hi every1, i fed my oscar i small prawn before, he got it in his mouth and it looks kind of stuck , his mouth is open and the prawn is in his throaght. will he digest it and be ok??

Thanks

you could use sterilised tweezers to take it out, sometimes when you even catch him in net that can sometimes knock it out as they get a fright. if it is properly stuck it will die!

You can knock a fish out?

If the prawn is lodged in its mouth sometimes trying to catch the fish makes it release it.
If not you sterlise some tweezers in boiling water, soak a clean cloth in tank water, wrap the fish in the cloth.
Will need someone to hold the fish down while you removed the lodged prawn.
Don't have the fish out of the water for long, as fast as you can.

Oscars just forget to chew their food.Their instinct is just to gulp...I'm sure he'll be fine.

cheers guys , they were just sitting on the substrate and looked quite sick , i chased them a bit the net and eventually they spat it out. thanks for all the help.
