I noticed my oscar has been pretty lethargic recently. He is usually the dominant one of the tank and pushes everybody else around during feeding time. When I went to feed him I noticed he wasn't fighting for food. Infact, he was getting pushed away by his other tank mates. Then taking a closer look he has what appears to be the beginings of a fungus maybe? He also has some nicks and scratches around his body from being pushed around. I moved him into a 29 and added medicating salt. I'll try to post a picture but I don't know how it's going to turn out. Should I get a fungal med for him. All I have right now for fungus is Trisulfa by Mardel. But I heard that causes nitrite or ammonia spikes.

thats hard to see in picture does it look fluffy or is it shiney flat looking could be fugus then get some tank treatment. Otherwise if not fluffy could be something else, there are a couple of tank chemicals that treat almost anything

i got my treatment from Pets at home if your in england as its cheaper in a green packet ill have a look tonight and when i treated my molly it worked within 24 hours and no effect on water.

Well it's slightly fluffy. Unforunately, I don't live in England
