woah sweet! i know you can train shibunkins to kick a soccer ball into a goal. and by kick i mean hit with their face.

It's an interesting video but I think it's pretty sad that the person thinks the fish is trained. Of course the fish wants the food and it will swim the shortest distance to get it. If that happens to be through a hoop in it's way, then it will swim through it.... thats all

Yes, but note- the food was not on the stick. The oscar had to learn to touch the stick first. It had to be conditioned to know that touching the stick meant it would recieve food. Therefore, it had to learn. Also, did you not see the part where the oscar swam through the hoop after the owner put a finger on the tank? How can that not be training? Seriously......

Wow, what an amazing video. I've always found that Oscars are very intelligent. They seem to have the most personality and are the most aware of their surroundings of any other fish.

im undecided on the vid tho.

sme of it looks trained some of it looks like clever directing.

isin't it just classical conditioning at the end of the day coz if the only way you were gna get food was to follow a stick and hedbut it, i think we would all be hedbuttin the stick and following it lol :D
