hi all please fill me in on the signs of breeding oscars my 2 are busy playing aronud they shake at each other try and lock jaw kinda and digging holes all over me tank only one problem dont have any where they cud spwan i.e not slate just rocks so nelly what you think lol as you normally help me oot

This is all very encouraging mate, much like what your jag's do, they will head to tail quiver, lip lock tug of war, dig pit's and be seen to clean around glass and rock's, if you don't have anything just get something like a large rock/pebble and place it in the tank, they will lay on rock surface's if not present i have seen them dig a very large hole and just lay the egg's on the glass bottom, see how they go, if you happen to notice this behaviour increase over the next few day's i would be inclined to preform a 30% waterchange and only add coldwater back, so to drop the temp, this sometime's inducing spawning activity :good:
This behaviour can become very aggressive to watch

i could get them a bit of slate like from the local garden centre the moro and stick it in and they do look like there are fighting

yes it's very difficult to distingush the difference, they can be very aggressive, finger's crossed, yes i got a huge peice of slate from local garden centre for 3pound's...it's about 2ft diamiter
