Oscar painting

I started this piece thinking it would be fun and easy, but since I see my fish every day, I ended up having to draw it JUST RIGHT so that it would look like him and I'd be satisfied with it... it was still fun, but not necessarily easy . Probably took a total of 10 hours over the course of 3 days to complete, but then again, I'm not used to painting so it takes me a while... All in all I'm satisfied with how it turned out

Edit: Don't mind the camera flash... the canvas was too big to fit on my scanner

Yep, one of the few times I've been bored enough to deal with canvas
Normally the texture causes more problems than it's worth, but I think it turned out well this time.
