Eldest daughter's Oscar was moved about a month ago, jumped whilst being moved, fell on floor, now in smaller tank but not eating. Daughter not interested anymore. Anyone in or around the Stevenage area got a good home? :dunno:

You could see if your local fish store would take him off you?
Make sure they have the right facilities to keep him though! I saw an oscar in a fish shop in a tiny tank!!! So cruel!

Thanks, tried that already but a no go.

Just emptied, cleaned out & refilling the big tank in readiness so I can put him back in there in the hope he'll be happier and start eating again. Not sure how long to leave the tank/water to 'condition' before putting him back in as I believe this has to be done. There is a small bottle of tap water conditioner which I think is squirted in.....?????

If there's anyone in Hertfordshire - or anywhere that knows about Oscars & maybe has space for another one, please get in touch as this fella hasn't eaten for a few weeks so not sure if he'll survive..... :dunno:
