Orion is all fins!

Orion's fins have gotten HUGE. The pictures don't even quite do them justice. I just had to snap a few pictures of him today. Here's a picture from March when I got him for comparison:

And today:

It's hard to get a picture of him sitting still with his fins all relaxed, he's always on the go.

I have to put my camera in macro mode usually to get clear pictures, but it's still hard if the fish is moving around a lot. Macro mode is usually denoted by a little flower icon on the camera settings.

He is so cute. I have one that is nearly identical to yours. He even developed the same blue/purple spots on his fin as yours did.

Thanks! I really think it made a difference that I got Orion's tank cycled. I could never get Draco's Mini-Bow to cycle and he hated current too much for me to be able to up the aeration anymore than I already had it. He got the beginnings of fin rot on his tail so I yanked him into a hospital tank and babied him along until it cleared up, but his tail is not as long and perfect as Orion's as a result.

I ended up going out and getting another Eclipse for Draco
