Ordering plants

I'm not stateside, but I bet @connorlindeman will know :)

Etsy / eBay is always an option

I don't know the 'best' source, but I've tried Dustins, Aquarium Co-op, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Buce Plant, Aquatic Arts, Modern Aquarium, and a few others I can't remember at the moment. Aquarium Plants Factory has them all beat by a mile so far. Always bigger portions, usually much cheaper-and there's always something on sale. Very quick shipping too, usually 2 or 3 days to Colorado from California.

Places like ebay, amazon and etsy depend on the individual seller - some are good some are bad and some offer their own store fronts at a discount.

aquariumplantfactor in california is ok for non rhizome plants; aquariumplants in florida was very good until the hurrican - not used them since and not sure if they have the same owner (they were esp good since they grew their own plants); dustin is ok but frequently plants have the wrong scientific names but the quality is decent. buceplants in midwest is not bad - no real complaints - glass aqua is ok - i strongly dislike auqarium-coop compared to the other places - there are a few sellers on etsy and ebay i esp like - there is a guy up in new york that is always reliable and a lady mei or something like that - who's selection is very samll but sometime she has great stuff. for buces bucefarm in texas on etsy is excellent.

There is some lady in floradia (on etsy) who is either senile or a scam artist.

Isn't there a marketplace here in the forum? Wouldn't it make sense to offer plants or ask if anyone has a particular plant for sale or for shipping costs? The German forums have something like this and it works well.

Yea i suppose but no one has the ones i want for sale and if they did then i wouldn't be looking for them any longer.

Btw my crypt aponogetifolia keeps spreading. It seems to be the only plant my large geo haven't figured out how to trash.

Marketplaces are hard when we can't decide if this is a UK, Australian, US, Irish, or Canadian forum. It's really wherever people speak English, as a first second third or fortieth language.

Most people who give locations forget to add the country, and that happens with ads too. I could see disasters with plant sales....
