Orange Molly

Hi there

We have a molly (orange in colour) and usually "she" has bright red eyes ... however we have noticed over the past few days her eye colour has become more transparent compared to the usual red. "She" doesnt seem to swim around as much as she used to but seems to rather be more wading and to me looks like she is gasping for air ... at feeding time "she" shoots like a rocket and gets her grub but other than that she only does as Ive described.

Ive scrutinised "her" as much as I possibly can and all seems in order apart from her eyes becoming faded and she isnt as mobile as usual.

Do you think she is suffering from something?

It sounds like she's not feeling well. I'd like to know more about your tank though. Have you checked water stats recently? What size is the tank? Are there other fish sharing the tank? Any developments since your last post?
