well guys i did some fish shopping since i was on last. for my birthday i convinced my mom into getting a 29 gallon! :)

so heres what i currently got:
- 2 Bleeding Heart Tetras (impossible to get them around here anymore :()
- 1 white skirt tetras. i dont want to get any more white skirts, becuase the ones here are dyed pink and blue and i didnt know that at the time when i bought mine. but i was thinking on getting some black skirts for him to have company
- 4 rosey barbs, 3 males and 1 female. i just got the other male and female today, and it was the last of what they had in rosey barbs. but next week i plan on getting a few more females
- 4 cories
- 2 guppies, male and female. im also goin to get more females next week

so what do you think so far?

Just MY THINKING OK, don't let me put you off: I always think honest & varied responses are best:

IMHO: Too many different species: I'd have gone for a lot more of the same species. Many fish really better suited to groupings of 6 or more individuals.

So thinking top, middle, bottom: I have chosen something like: 6 guppies, 6 tetra (or similar), 6 corys. (I have NOT calc'd size to max length etc.)

male and female guppies equal LOADS of fry.....continuously  Also Barbs and guppies not stable mates (fin nipping?)

i think this would be ok,

8 rosey barbs, 3 males 5 females
6 corys, all one specie.

imo that would be nice :) not overstocked.
