Got my little 28litre at the moment, had fish in for about a week and already am looking for bigger things :p

Have found this which doesn't look too bad but.. .what do I know, opinions? :)

Also, the measurements given of 3ft x 2ft x 1.5ft is a lot more than 120L? At least according to the converter thing on this site :p

the fluval roma comes in several sizes but not of them are 3ft, theres the 90 which is 2', the 125 which is 2'7'' (which i suspect is the one in the ad), 200 which is 3'3'' and the 240 which is 4'.
id message them and get a measurement in cm, might be a bit more accurate :)

oooooh, okay that would make more sense tbh if that was the size :p Thank you :)

Get the measurement in units familiar to you. I convert constantly because people in the UK use litres and people in the US use gallons but I cannot expect everyone to do that. To me 28 litres means about 8 gallons but that is the way I round it off in my head. I might be as much as a gallon off if I took the time to actually do the calculation. It gets me close enough to give appropriate advice though. A 3x2x1.5 tank is about 3x2x1.5x7.5 gallons per cubic foot or about 70 gallons. I think that comes out to about 260 litres. That is a nice sized tank and could accommodate a large stocking. Do not try to stock that thing all at once since you probably only have a filter that is cycled for your present tiny, by comparison, tank.

Yeah, leave the feet and inches to us yanks.

LOL :good:

i picked up a roma 200 and an fx5 of gumtree for £150, i so if your not desperate for it and have the patients you'll find a bargain eventually

Thats pretty alright :p Yeah, I need to learn more patience :3 I'm horrible at waiting haha

took me several months of ebay, gumtree, etc. hunting to find my upgrade and I'm incredibly pleased that I waited.

Hi. Having started with a 64L and now just cycling my new 260 L 4ft tank I'd recommend going for the biggest one you can accommodate in the space you've got. Be a little careful with second hand, and make sure you've got the right stand for the tank. Sometimes guarantees are void because of the wrong stand being used.

Okay will bear that in mind. Thankyou :) biggest at the moment I can get would be about 120 litres. Want to get a lot bigger eventually :p
