ok heres the questions what can be put with them , i bought them few days ago with angel fish but separated them as i notice the perfect looking black marble angel tail being shattered so i assumed it was the opaline gouramis so i put them in alone in a 25 gal i have 2 females and a male ... beautiful looking fish will leave it alone but would like some bottom eater what can i put in there for bottom feeder and will it be possible to put them in with paradise fish which i have 4 males and one females all my females died but one had a break out in the tank while back , and look below for all tank i have and will i be able to put in with them in 90 gal or no

90GALLON
6 paradisefish
1 rainbowshark(i was told to get one more)
4 clown loaches
10 corydoras 4 difrent variety
2 sunset platty
2 common plecos presently 3 inches ,when i got them they were the same size as the cory doras

25GALLON
3 opaline gouramis

10 GALLON
2 angelfish
2 baby platty same size as the tetras
4 neon tetras

i know about the angel fish but im waitng til they get bit bigger but i was told they were be ok as they are same size as the opaline gouramis but no go there so thats why in 10 gal and im afraid to put them in 90 gal so tahts why the quest about oplaine going in the 90 gal i hope so as i did buy the 25 gal for the angelfish as its a tall tank

can anyone answer me thanks ... im just waiting it out on the plms in my 90 gal tank

I'd go ahead and try them in the 90 gallon. It would be better than the 25 gallon, where they'd probably stress each other from lack of space for territories.

I would not have chosen to put clown loaches in with cories, although I'm sure the gouramis will be fine with either until the clowns get a lot bigger.

You have so many bottom feeders if I were you I'd get rid of the rainbow shark instead of getting another, and/or rehome the clown loaches or cories.

Maybe you could put the cories in with your angelfish in the 25 gallon.

sounds like a plan i will put some of the cories with the angelfish in the 25gal ,, it is in present location for that the 25 ga is new tank and i cloned the tank so that area is fine in sense of cycling and as for the 90 gal from what everyone says wait 6 mths for free of plms as im still having plms with them in there and i love my rainbow shark and dont really want to rehome him as he is delightful to watch and will not get anymore .. my husband loves his rainbow shark... as for the cories i will move some into the other 2 tanks i have .. but they are hard to catch though in the 90 gal ...

I was advised to keep paradise fish by themselves in a species tank, as these fish seem to be very territorial. Seen the size of your tank (90 gallon) and the number of paradise you have in there, I would not advice you to put more gouramis in.

well i did the move .. i put the opaline gouramis in with the paradise fish and its fine but the opaline male still chases the females so the females are hiding with the pardise fish ... they are no longer aggresive since putting the opaline as the make seems to be the boss and every one is in haromony for now
and as for angel fish is in 25 tall gallon tank with 3 pepper and 3 otos ... hopefully these would be fine

no plms so far the paradise are no longer doing the pecking order and the opaline male has taken over the territory and one of the female i guess she had enough and chased him back so he leave her alone now and only bothers the other female and rest tank mates are fine so far
