i bought 2 from my lfs a few days ago and one of them is constantly harrassing the other and i've just noticed that the one being harrassed has lost a bit of his tail, i haven't read anywhere that they shouldn't be kept together ! Any ideas of what i can do ? They were all acting fine in the shop, i thought about maybe adding another but i haven't got the room !!

96l quite a few plants 2 gouramis, 6 rosy tetras, 6 cory julli's

cheers

it may be that the fish is weak and the other fish sees this, the best idea might be to set up a new tank for the fish, or try to trade it in at the petstore

Opaline/Blue Gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus) males are notorious bullies not only to their own kind but other tank mates.
Some females might reduce aggressiveness. (males dorsal long more pointed, females dorsal short & rounded)

Or 2 females were very aggressive togeather . the biger tank and more fish has calmed them down. (Not because there further apart as they still stay togeather....)
