yeah she will be, i suppose its like going on a ride at a water park  ive had pleny try to use this method as a means of escape and they dont do it again for sure :look:

i mean she didnt get stuck, well only when i panicked n stuck my finger over the other end just b4 she got sucked up

the tube is wide so she didnt get wedged and came out the other end in the bucket

shes now sulking in the tank

pleb

btw daz thanks for the filter, i need to try and stop the bubbles coming out from where the airline gets attatched now b4 i use it

i had a danio that did this once :( it looked a bit wonky afterwards, it lived though and seemed ok

i dont take my eyes off the area while I siphon the water now, the only way to be sure that none go up! :good:

Every time I clean the gravel in the livebearers tank I have to scoop fry out of the bucket and chuck them in the fry tank

Don't worry, she will be no worse for wear.
I have had them go down the drain and nothing happened to them. Just scooped them out and cleaned them up without much trauma to them.

shes fine this morning, except a tear in her fin, think she got in a scrap last nite lol

she should be good, I sucked a fat platy up once, forgot to check the bucket as I was dumping it, poured her down the drain and then saw her at the last second...ran outside and collected her out of the gray water gully.

about a hundred feet down my kitchen pipe and still swimming eating and popping out babies :good:

Id just watch for any nips or tears that might turn infected, not likely if you keep your water good and clean though:)

how far down the drain? lol

Almost to the point of no return. I put a net on the end of the drain pipe and flushed her out.
She was a Longfin CT Female.
